This is the first initiative of ICERT, focusing on development and growth of ICERT as a cultured, multi-dimensional, multi-vocational and multi-activity Institute, the core activities of which go in line with its very name. Non-Formal Continuing Education with School Dropouts, College Dropouts and Career Seekers is the prime focus area of the Institute. It also indulges in Research-based activities, especially the research on areas and avenues that affect and influence change in the social, economic and health profile of rural India. Studies have been conducted on its own initiative, so also with like-minded/like-focussed organization(s) for research on the success/ performance of certain government initiatives for upliftment of rural masses of Jharkhand. Studies on health-seeking behavior, ideal intervention for chronic diseases and management of neo-natal & child illnesses and disease surveillence have also been conducted by ICERT.
